I’m the oldest of five children, and I grew up in the Midwest watching my parents, Ivan and Kathy Bunch, work hard to raise our family while pursuing dreams of their own. As master cosmetologists and owners of their own shop, they showed me what it means to build something with dedication, creativity, and heart.
Education was always important in our home. So were hard work, love, and grace. My parents taught me the ins and outs of working for myself, but their example reached far beyond business. They encouraged me to keep learning, keep growing, and believe that my dreams were worth pursuing.
They are my role models. Even today, their love and encouragement give me the energy to keep going and the confidence to believe in myself.
I carry those lessons with me in everything I create for AplantheCary. Every step forward carries a little of their love, and I hope what I build makes them as proud as I am to be their son.
